Ronson Europe N.V., represented at the Stock-Listed Company of the Year gala by member of the Management Board – Tomasz Łapiński, was in 2013 moved up within the “Investor Relations” category, and took first place ex aequo with PZU S.A. The company also held a very high – 15th position in the following categories: “Competences of the Management Board” and “Quality of products and services” (which was the best result among housing
developers whose shares were traded on the Warsaw Stock Exchange), while in the main ranking the Company took a high – 21st place.

Stock-Listed Company of the Year is the oldest and most prestigious ranking on the market. The “Puls Biznesu” editorial staff (“PB”) has organized it with TNS Polska for 15 years now.

The Stock-Listed Company of the Year is the only such comparison in the market. At the request of “PB”, TNS Polska surveyed over 120 professionals who have influence on the decisions taken by investors – stock analysts, investment advisors and brokers representing brokerage houses and offices, insurance companies, pension, investment and trust funds, banks’ capital departments and consulting companies from around Poland.

They assessed the stock-listed companies according to the following categories: powers of their management boards, quality of their products and services, investor relations, and development prospects. They also had the task to answer whether – in their view – each of the companies was successful in 2013. Based on ratings in five categories, the main ranking was established.
124 respondents participated in the survey conducted in January and February 2014, including – 58 analysts, 24 consultants and 42 brokers. The object of their rating included all companies listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange in 2013. Participants of the survey assessed the average of 18 companies that were selected to best match them to the professionals’ responsibilities and interests. The entities which were presented in the final ranking were the ones rated at least by 3 or 2 experts, if their knowledge about the company was at least good. The ratings were provided in a 7-point scale, according to the following principle: the more favorable rating, the greater the number of scores assigned to a company. The results of the survey were ranked according to the average of ratings. For greater clarity of sub-rankings and the main ranking, the averages of ratings were converted into a 100-score scale.
This was a huge advantage of that survey, as the stock-listed companies received valuable information on their perception by the market animators.
